Collect what is needed. Retain what remains justified.
The public website is deliberately simple. Mielogos does not require visitor accounts, member passwords, analytics profiles, advertising trackers, or private creative archives in order to explain the Association and publish its documents.
Public website
The current public site is a static website. Mielogos does not intentionally use advertising trackers, behavioral analytics, user accounts, or a membership database on the public site at this stage.
Ordinary hosting and network infrastructure may process standard technical information necessary to deliver a web page, such as IP address, request time, requested resource, and browser or device information. Mielogos does not use that information to build visitor profiles.
Email contact
If you write to contact@mielogos.org, Mielogos receives the information you choose to send, together with normal email metadata such as your email address, delivery time, and message headers.
The institutional mailbox is hosted through Dynadot. Incoming correspondence is also forwarded to an administrative mailbox provided by Google so it can be reviewed without requiring continuous access to a separate webmail interface. These providers process email data as part of delivering and storing the correspondence.
Mielogos keeps correspondence only for as long as it remains reasonably useful for the purpose for which it was sent, institutional recordkeeping, or the resolution of a concrete issue. Please do not send passwords, private keys, government identification, unpublished manuscripts, private AI conversations, or other sensitive material unless Mielogos has specifically requested a proportionate form of evidence for a defined purpose.
Membership is not open yet
The current Join page does not collect membership applications. Before public membership opens, Mielogos will publish the applicable membership privacy notice and identify the actual submission and recordkeeping workflow used for applications and identity-link verification.
Public identity verification will not be civil-identity verification. The intended model remains data-minimizing: collect what is needed to establish a reasonable link to the public identity under which membership is requested, and do not retain temporary evidence when there is no continuing reason to keep it.
